Polda Metro Jaya Successfully Handled 67 Percent of 110 Call Center Calls During 2025

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The optimization of public services through the 110 call center service by the Polda Metro Jaya was generally considered optimal. 269 calls for help were received by Polda Metro Jaya’s 110 operators during 2025. This is clear and strong evidence that the Polri is increasingly trusted by the public as protectors and guardians.
In his presentation during the 2025 Year-End Release (RAT) at the Metro Jaya Meeting Hall (BPMJ) on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, Kapolda Metro Jaya, Irjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri explained, that 67 percent of the 269 calls for help received were successfully handled by his staff.
“For us, these figures indicate that the public is increasingly confident in reporting and seeking assistance. Moreover, a key measure of public satisfaction, if put elegantly, is the speed with which Polri officers are present in the community,” explained the two-star general from the Tunggal Panaluan Battalion, Akpol 1994.
“In the context of public service, we also fully understand that the assessment of the police is largely determined by how quickly we respond when the public needs something or reports it. That’s why Polda Metro Jaya is highly committed to optimizing the public service hotline call center 110,” he added.
Speaking more clearly, Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’ also explained that Polda Metro Jaya will carry out nine police operations during 2025. These operations involve several stakeholders as a crucial instrument for prevention, service delivery, and vulnerability control that is focused, more measurable, and tailored to the nature of threats and the needs of the community at each time.
And even more impressively, this operation was carried out flawlessly without any disruption to routine security duties at certain times.
“Jakarta’s security is a shared responsibility. We are committed to providing a police force that is precise, humane, and responsive. We also continue to welcome criticism and input from the public as part of our performance evaluation,” said Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’ again.
He also stated, that regarding the priority program Jaga Jakarta born from his thinking, the Polda Metro Jaya as the institution he leads has also moved automatically and made optimal efforts by utilizing various modes. From preemptive and preventive measures to law enforcement, efforts are being intensified to the maximum extent possible. This includes police operations to suppress street crime, narcotics, gambling, thuggery, and cybercrime. And the results are indeed impressive.
Throughout 2025, there has been a significant decrease in crime rates compared to 2024. This decrease was also accompanied by a slowing of the crime clock, indicating a decrease in the frequency of crime in Jakarta and its surrounding areas.
In addition to maintaining public order and security, various efforts have been undertaken to strengthen public services. These include revitalizing the Community Service Center (SPKT), strengthening the 110 Call Center, and optimizing the Command Center.
We also fully support government programs such as food security and the Free Nutritional Meal Program (MBG). Throughout 2025, the Polda Metro Jaya has built 49 Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG), 15 of which are already operational.
