progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA — Three young men planning a brawl were arrested by the Central Jakarta Metro Polres’s Precision Pioneer Patrol (3P) Team on Jalan Kramat III, Senen, Central Jakarta, early Sunday, February 15, 2026. The three young men are identified as S (25), RBA (24), and MRA (20).

The incident occurred at 4:00 a.m. after police received a public report regarding a potential brawl in the area. Following up on this information, the Central Jakarta Metro Polres’s 3P Team immediately went to the crime scene (TKP).

The information received proved correct. A group of young men were seen gathering in the area. The 3P Team immediately moved quickly to pursue the youths. They were left in disarray.

During the chase, three youths were apprehended. Meanwhile, other evidence seized included nine motorcycles of various types, two sickles, three corbeks, one golf club, one mild steel bar, and two cell phones.

The three arrested youths were immediately taken by the 3P Team to the Senen Polsek Station for further questioning. All evidence recovered was also seized.

The Head of the Anti-Brawl Task Force, Kombes Pol Wahyu Dwi Ariwibowo stated in an official statement, that his team will continue to increase patrols during high-risk hours to prevent brawls and street crime.

“We will take firm action against anyone involved in brawls or carrying sharp weapons. We continue to conduct routine patrols and cyber patrols to detect potential disturbances to public order and security early,” he emphasized.

Separately, the Head of Public Relations for the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Bhudi Hermanto also urged the public to immediately report any potential brawls or security disturbances through the police hotline 110.

“The 110 service is free to access 24 hours a day. We will immediately follow up on every public report,” he said. (Bembo)
