progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The C Pioneer Battalion of the Brimob Polda Metro Jaya conducted patrols as part of enhanced routine activities (KRYD) following Operation Ketupat Jaya 2026 at Kalideres Terminal. The patrols were conducted to ensure the safety and smooth flow of public activities during the Eid al-Fitr return flow.
The Head of the Brimob Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Pol Henik Maryanto, explained in a statement, that security at transportation hubs is a priority due to the high level of public mobility during the return flow period.
“We want to ensure the presence of personnel at public transportation points so that people feel safe and comfortable when returning from their hometowns,” Kombes Pol Henik told the media on Thursday, March 26, 2026.
During these patrols, he continued, passengers were also reminded to always be vigilant about their belongings and to always pay attention to their health after long journeys. According to him, preventive measures, such as routine patrols and surveillance, are crucial to prevent potential security disturbances in the terminal area.
Based on preliminary data from the Kalideres Terminal, 2.221 passengers have arrived on 123 buses. Meanwhile, 309 passengers departed on 31 buses.
“The Brimob of the Polda Metro Jaya urges people arriving from their journeys to double-check their belongings before leaving the bus. Please also take advantage of the rest areas provided if you feel tired,” explained Kombes Pol Henik in her message.
“As of noon, the return flow at the Kalideres Terminal is also running smoothly. We will continue to help maintain public safety and comfort during the Eid al-Fitr return flow period,” he added. (Bembo)
