During the Pancamasa Period Until May 2026, the Polda Metro’s Ditreskrimum Intercepts 171 3C Cases and Arrests 103 Bandits

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Polda Metro Jaya’s General Criminal Investigation Directorate (Ditreskrimum) announced its successful work achievements during the Pancamasa Period until May 2026. 171 3C cases, namely aggravated theft (curat), theft with violence (curas), and motor vehicle theft (curanmor), were intercepted, 13 of which went viral on social media. Meanwhile, 103 bandits were arrested.
Of the 3C aggravated theft dominated with 86 cases. Motorcycle theft followed with 75 cases, and theft with violence followed with 10 cases.
The seized evidence included 53 motorcycles, 4 four-wheeled vehicles, 65 mobile phones of various brands, 8 sharp weapons, and 5 firearms with 27 rounds of ammunition. Additional evidence, including CCTV footage from various crime scenes, was also secured to corroborate the primary evidence.
The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Bhudi Hermanto stated in a statement, that the Polda Metro Jaya has consistently enforced the law firmly while also optimizing its preventive functions in the field.
“The Polda Metro Jaya continues to enforce the law firmly against all forms of crime. In addition to repressive measures, we also actively conduct routine patrols to prevent crime and restrict the movement of perpetrators to maintain public order and security,” said Kombes Pol Bhudi in a statement on Friday, May 15, 2026.
Similarly, the Director of Criminal Investigation at the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Iman Imanuddin, also emphasized his team’s readiness to maintain security in the capital city 24 for hour.
“We have prepared a 24-hour anti-thug team. We have placed this team on standby and deployed it to areas deemed vulnerable to street crime to provide maximum protection to the public,” Kombes Pol Iman emphasized.
Meanwhile, investigators have charged the 103 bandits arrested in the 3C case recapitulation with a sarong under Article 477 (theft/motorcycle theft) under Law Number 1 of 2023, which carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison. Then there’s the hook punch under Article 479 (curas), which carries a maximum sentence of nine years, and the uppercut punch under Article 307, which concerns illegal weapons possession. The investigation process will still adhere to the procedural law stipulated in Law Number 20 of 2025 and the adjustment provisions in Law Number 1 of 2026.
Finally, in its appeal, the Polda Metro Jaya also urged all elements of the community not to hesitate to immediately report any indication of security disturbances through the 110 Call Center.
