progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Polri’s  performance in overseeing and securing the commemoration of International Workers’ Day, or May Day 2026, has received public appreciation from the Director of the Identification Registration (Dirregident) Polri Traffic Corps (Korlantas Polri), Brigjen Pol Wibowo. He stated, that the Polri had succeeded in ensuring a safe and conducive commemoration.

Brigjen Pol Wibowo expressed this appreciation while leading a morning roll call with Korlantas Polri personnel at the NTMC POLRI Building in Jakarta on Monday, May 4, 2026.

He stated, that the personnel on duty have proven capable of maintaining personal safety while working. This is a key factor in carrying out every task in the field.

“I just want to reiterate my gratitude to the leadership, both regarding the implementation of routine tasks last week, including securing the Labor Day commemoration activities. Everything went well, safely, smoothly, and conducively. And most importantly, we were all able to maintain our personal safety,” said the Dirregident praising him.

He also reminded personnel to maintain the positive conditions that have been achieved. This includes, of course, increasing public trust in the Polri, especially in the field of traffic.

To maintain this, Brigjen Pol Wibowo continued, the simplest way is to carry out their duties well and avoid all forms of violations.

“The personnel’s excellent performance, and the public’s trust in us (the Korlantas Polri) has begun to increase through traffic, please maintain it. The method is quite simple, carry out your duties well and avoid violations. It’s very, very simple,” he said.

Furthermore, he continued, coordination and synergy between personnel must also be prioritized. All members are asked to continue strengthening communication and cooperation.  This includes implementing the “Polantas Menyapa” program, which encourages positive interactions with the public, especially for Highway Patrol (PJR) personnel.

Finally, Brigjen Pol Wibowo also urged all personnel to maintain unity, solidarity, and maintain optimal health while on duty. With maintained enthusiasm and discipline, the Korlantas Polri is expected to continue providing the best service to the public.

“Implement this in your respective areas of duty, especially your colleagues (Road Patrol personnel), as many of them are in areas with significant contact with the public,” he explained.

“We (all Korlantas Polri personnel) realize that we cannot carry out our duties alone. Please coordinate with each other. The Chief of Korlantas Polri has created a very good program, Korlantas Greet,” added Brigjen Pol Wibowo.
