One Step for Nature, a Thousand Benefits for the Nation, Polda Jabar and Bhayangkari Preserve Mount Gede.

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Polda of West Java and the Bhayangkari will conduct a nature conservation activity titled “One Step for Nature, a Thousand Benefits for the Nation, Polda Jabar and Bhayangkari Preserve Mount Gede” in the Mount Gede area on Saturday, May 9, 2026.

This activity demonstrates the Polda of West Java commitment to preserving nature and mountain ecosystems, while also supporting the preservation of biodiversity in West Java.

The series of conservation activities will include the release of wildlife, planting productive plants in residential areas, and simultaneously planting Edelweiss flowers, a plant endemic to the mountains.

Kapolda of West Java, Irjen Pol Rudi Setiawan explained in his statement, that this activity demonstrates the Polri’s commitment to maintaining the balance of nature. He also encourages the entire community to play an active role in environmental conservation.

Meanwhile, Kapolres of Cianjur, AKBP A. Alexander Yurikho Hadi stated, that nature conservation is not solely the government’s responsibility. It is also a shared responsibility to safeguard natural heritage for future generations.

He hopes, continued Kapolres Alexander, that this activity will increase public awareness of the importance of preserving mountain ecosystems. It will also strengthen the synergy between the Polri, the government, and the community to preserve Indonesia’s natural resources.
