Polda Metro Ranmor Sub-Directorate Reveals Case of 1.494 Stolen Motorcycles in Kemandoran VIII

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Polda Metro Jaya Motor Vehicle (Ranmor) Sub-Directorate, Directorate of General Crimes, has uncovered a case of motorcycles allegedly being stolen on Jalan Kemandoran VIII, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta. Thousands of motorcycles of various makes and colors were seen at the location, marked with yellow police tape.
Some appeared to have been recently wrapped in plastic. Others appeared worn and dusty. Several motorcycle spare parts and heavy equipment were also seen at the location.
The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Bhudi Hermanto stated in a statement, that The Polda Metro Jaya, through the Ranmor Sub-Directorate, Directorate of General Crimes, has uncovered a major case of alleged motorcycle vehicle reception. The findings reveal the storage and control of 1.494 motorcycles, which are strongly suspected to be the proceeds of crime.

A total of 1.494 motorcycles are suspected of being used to receive stolen goods on Jalan Kemandoran VIII, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta.
“Investigators have seized 1.494 motorcycles suspected of being sold abroad,” said Kombes Pol Bhudi on Monday, May 11, 2026.
The Director of Criminal Investigation at the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Iman Imannudin added, that the thousands of motorcycles scattered at the location are strongly suspected to be the proceeds of crime. His team is currently conducting a series of investigations.
“They are suspected to be the result of a criminal act. The suspects were unable to provide proof of legal ownership,” said Kombes Pol Iman.
