Unit 4 Sub-Directorate 2 Chief Ditresnarkoba Polda Metro Jaya, AKP Yeni Yuningsih with 30 etomidate cartridges as evidence, as well as the tailing and sliding tackle of the perpetrator identified as M.S.

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Polda Metro Jaya Narcotics Directorate (Ditresnarkoba) has again successfully intercepted a Class II narcotics distribution case, etomidate. This time, Unit 4, Sub-Directorate 2, successfully conducted a slid tackle on the distribution of 30 etomidate cartridges in the Cengkareng area, West Jakarta. One perpetrator, identified as M.S. (29), was also knocked down by the slid tackle.

The slid tackle took place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at approximately 12:55 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB) in front of Sedayu Square, Jalan Outer Ring Road, Lingkar Luar, Cengkareng, West Jakarta. Prior to the slid tackle, police received information from the public regarding suspected drug abuse activity in the Kamal area of ​​West Jakarta.

Based on this information, the Unit 4 team from Sub-Directorate 2 of the Polda Metro Jaya’s Ditresnarkoba, led by Unit Chief AKP Budi Purwanto and Unit Chief Ipda Rizal Zulkarnain, immediately moved to investigate the suspected target.

While conducting surveillance in the Cengkareng area, officers became suspicious of a man riding a motorcycle. They then followed him and ultimately executed a sliding tackle on him in front of Sedayu Square.

During the search, a red tote bag was found containing 30 cartridges suspected to be etomidate.

In addition to this evidence, a cell phone and the motorcycle the man was riding were also seized.

In her explanation, Unit 4 Sub-Directorate 2 Chief Ditresnarkoba Polda Metro Jaya,  AKP Yeni Yuningsih stated, that Sub-Directorate 2 of the Polda Metro Jaya Ditresnarkoba had conducted a clean sliding tackle to stop the circulation of etomidate in Cengkareng, West Jakarta. The perpetrator, a man identified as M.S. (29), also collapsed helplessly, along with 30 etomidate cartridges.

“The perpetrator and the evidence are currently being held at the Polda Metro Jaya Ditresnarkoba office for further investigation. Our sliding tackle was also clean, with no violations,” said AKP Yeni Yuningsih.
