BEKASI – Kapolres Metro of Bekasi, Kombes Pol Sumarni, and his staff conducted a public order and security visit to PT Astemo Bekasi Manufacturing in the Jababeka Industrial Estate, North Cikarang, on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. This visit was conducted to strengthen synergy, increase legal awareness, and maintain traffic order.

The Kapolres Metro of Bekasi  and his entourage arrived at the location around 10:30 a.m. WIB. Accompanying the Kapolres Kombes Pol Sumarni, Head of the Intelligence and Security Unit, Kompol Zaini A. Zainuri, Head of the Community Development Unit, Kompol Sugiharto, Head of the Traffic Unit, Kompol Sugihartono, Head of the Propam Section, Kompol Mamun, Head of Public Relations, AKP Aliyani, Kapolsek of North Cikarang, AKP Noach, and Head of the Narcotics Investigation Unit, Iptu Luki.

Meanwhile, PT Astemo Bekasi Manufacturing was represented by management and worker representatives, including Agung from the company management, Ari Dwiyanto from HRD, Fresa from the Bekasi City/Regency FSPMI Branch, Budiono from the Head of the PT Astemo PUK, and approximately 100 employees.

In his remarks, Ari Dwiyanto, HRD of PT Astemo Bekasi Manufacturing, expressed his appreciation for the presence of  the Kapolres Metro of Bekasi and his staff, who he considered to demonstrate real concern for the community and the industrial sector in Bekasi Regency.

Meanwhile, Kapolres Metro of Bekasi, Kombes Pol Sumarni, emphasized the importance of coaching and counseling for workers, particularly regarding the prevention of drug abuse and sexual violence. The workplace must be a safe, healthy, and productive space for all workers.

In the presentation session, Iptu Luki from the Polres Metro of Bekasi Narcotics Unit provided counseling on the dangers of drug abuse, from health impacts, mental disorders, social consequences, to legal aspects. This education also emphasized the importance of vigilance against the abuse of hard drugs, which must be used according to medical regulations.

Next, the Head of Traffic at the Polres Metro Bekasi, Kompol Sugihartono, presented material on Safety Riding & Driving. He emphasized the importance of a culture of orderly traffic, driving etiquette, driver physical fitness, and factors that influence traffic accidents. This material also served as a reminder for workers who use vehicles every day.

The Kapolres Metro of Bekasi also presented material on preventing violence and sexual harassment, both physical and non-physical. This included education on legal protection through the Sexual Violence Crime Act (UU TPKS). This outreach is expected to increase public understanding and courage to prevent and report any form of violation.

The Polres Metro of Bekasi under the command of Kombes Pol Sumarni, appears to be continuously strengthening its humane and educational approach to the community, including those in the industrial sector. The goal is to create a safe, orderly, healthy, and harmonious work environment.
