The Polda Metro Jaya held the Jakarta On The Spot activity to directly hear the aspirations of the residents of Warung Sop Janda Ibu Darmi, Rawa Julang Hamlet, Ganda Mekar Village, West Cikarang, Bekasi Regency.

progresifjaya.co.id,  BEKASI – The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Bhudi Hermanto, and the Director of Special Criminal Investigation of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Victor Dean Mackbon, held a Jakarta On The Spot event in West Cikarang, Bekasi Regency, West Java. This event was held to gather the aspirations of residents and online motorcycle taxi (ojol) drivers.

The Jakarta On The Spot event was held at Warung Sop Janda Ibu Darmi, Rawa Julang Hamlet, Ganda Mekar Village. Also present were the Head of the Public Information Sub-Division of the Polda Metro Jaya Public Relations, Kompol Andaru Rahutomo, the West Cikarang Bhabinkamtibmas (community police officer), Aipda Pujianto, the Babinsa (village supervisory non-commissioned officer), the neighborhood unit (RT) head, and 13 representatives of residents and ojol drivers.

The Jakarta On The Spot event was warm and communicative. Residents raised several issues, including the perceived burden of ojol app fees, inadequate street lighting in several vulnerable areas, youth brawls on the Tambun and Cibitung underpasses, and the need for strengthening the security forces’ response to the MM2100 industrial area.

They also expressed concerns about alleged job brokers and illegal online loans. They also addressed the need for a police post in an area far from the police station headquarters, as well as the development of the alleged murder case in Kertamukti. Residents also expressed their hope that early anticipation of the 2026 Village Head Elections would be implemented.

“The Jakarta On The Spot program is designed to directly address residents’ complaints, needs, and expectations. We will address input related to security, regional patrols, and employment issues with relevant agencies,” explained Kombes Pol Bhudi Hermanto after listening to the complaints on Tuesday, June 9, 2026.

Meanwhile, the Director of Special Criminal Investigation at the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Victor Dean Mackbon, reminded the public to be more vigilant against various detrimental schemes. This includes the tactics of job brokers and vehicle loan collection that violate regulations. The public is also urged to immediately report any experience of intimidation, fraud, or potentially unlawful actions.

Concluding the Jakarta On The Spot activity, the public hopes that the input provided will be acted upon quickly and appropriately. Synergy between the police, government, and all elements of society is also expected to strengthen to find solutions.
