progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Dewa United FC, the pride of Banten, has reportedly signed Brazilian defensive midfielder Jean Mangabeira da Silva for the 2026/2027 Indonesia Super League season. Jean Mangabeira previously played for the Brazilian Serie C club Figueirense.

Standing 1.85 meters tall and born on March 10, 1997, in Rondonópolis, Mato Grosso, Brazil, the player was brought in by Banten Warriors to bolster a midfield lineup left depleted following the expiration of Ivar Jenner’s short-term contract.

His abilities as a defensive midfielder are expected to provide a shield for the Banten Warriors’ defense, disrupting opponent attacks before they reach the final third of Dewa United FC’s defensive zone.

Statistically, during his time with Figueirense, Jean Mangabeira recorded 250 successful passes out of 287 attempts, achieving an 87.11 percent success rate.

Furthermore, across 1,021 minutes of play, he recorded a 75 percent success rate in aerial duels and another 75 percent success rate in ground-based man-to-man duels.
