Cleanup activities by Polda Metro Jaya Policewomen to mark the 78th Anniversary of the Indonesian Policewomen Corps in 2026.

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – To commemorate the 78th Anniversary of the Indonesian Women Police Corps (Polwan) in 2026, Policewomen from the Polda Metro Jaya and all subordinate district police units (Polres) held a morning roll call followed by a simultaneous environmental cleanup drive on Friday, August 21, 2026.

The event, which began at 07:00 WIB, was centered at the forecourt of the Polda Metro Jaya Special Criminal Investigation Directorate (Ditreskrimsus) for personnel stationed at the regional headquarters. Simultaneously, similar activities were carried out by Policewomen across all district police units within the Polda Metro Jaya jurisdiction.

The roll call at the regional headquarters level was led by the Coordinator of Polda Metro Jaya Policewomen, AKBP Rusmiati Wahyu Lestari, who also serves as the Head of the Vital Object Security Sub-directorate (Kasubdit Waster) at the Vital Object Security Directorate (Ditpamobvit).

In her address, AKBP Rusmiati Wahyu Lestari emphasized the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness as an act of care and a shared responsibility. The activity was also intended to strengthen the cohesion, camaraderie, and solidarity among Policewomen across the Polda Metro Jaya force.

Following the roll call, the event proceeded with the simultaneous cleanup drive involving policewomen from both the regional headquarters and all district units. Personnel worked together to clean their work environments using various cleaning tools, such as traditional stick brooms, dustpans, and trash bags.

Beyond the physical cleanup, the initiative served as an opportunity to foster environmental awareness while reinforcing the spirit of togetherness and unity within the Polda Metro Jaya ranks.

Through this activity, policewomen from the Polda Metro Jaya and all district units demonstrated that the spirit of service is not expressed solely through the execution of police duties, but also through environmental stewardship and a sense of community. 

In a spirit of togetherness, Policewomen from the Polda Metro Jaya and all subordinate district police units simultaneously participated in environmental cleanup efforts, demonstrating their care and dedication in anticipation of the 78th Anniversary of the Indonesian Policewomen Corps.
