Security operations are being conducted using a humane and persuasive approach to ensure the protests proceed safely, orderly, and peacefully without disrupting the activities of the general public.

Kapolres Metro of Central Jakarta, Kombes Pol Reynold EP Hutagalung stated, that security operations began at 07:00 WIB, involving key officials and supervising officers.

On the ground, security operations are divided into six zones. The Polres Metro of Central Jakarta leadership is directly overseeing security for the protest in Zone 1, located within the Ring 1 area of ​​the DPR/MPR complex.

Meanwhile, Wakapolres Metro of Central Jakarta, AKBP Mirzal Maulana is leading security operations within the jurisdiction of the Polsek Metro of Gambir.

The division into zones was implemented to manage crowd concentrations while maintaining security and ensuring the smooth flow of public activity.

Zone 2 covers various points around the DPR/MPR complex extending to the Semanggi Flyover.

Zone 3 encompasses the SPARK emergency exit, TVRI, the Hotel Mulia traffic light intersection, and the Asia Afrika traffic light intersection.

Zone 4 covers the Pancasila Gate area. Zone 5 includes the Palmerah Police Post, Palmerah Station, the DPR Mosque, and the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (LHK) building. Zone 6 covers the BPK RI (Audit Board) area, Lorong Warga, and the Upper Ladokgi area.

In addition to these six zones, personnel have been deployed to the Hotel Indonesia (HI) Roundabout and Dukuh Atas areas to monitor crowd movements and their impact on traffic flow. Kombes Pol Reynold emphasized, that the personnel assigned to secure the protest are not carrying firearms or bladed weapons.

This policy, he added, reflects the Polri’s commitment to prioritizing a humane and persuasive approach when serving the public as they express their views.

Meanwhile, traffic personnel have also been deployed to manage traffic flow and implement situational traffic diversions.

The police continue to provide space for citizens to exercise their right to express their views in accordance with applicable regulations.
