The mobile driver’s license service (Simling) operated by the Polres of Purwakarta Traffic Unit.

progresifjaya.co.id, PURWAKARTA – The Purwakarta Police Traffic Unit (Satlantas Polres Purwakarta) has released the schedule for its mobile driver’s license renewal service (Simling) for the upcoming week, running from Monday, August 31, 2026, to Saturday, September 5, 2026.

On Monday, August 31, 2026, the mobile service will be stationed at MPP Madukara Pasar Jumat to serve the residents of Purwakarta.

Kicking off September on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, the unit will operate from the Burger King parking lot on Jalan Veteran. On Wednesday, September 2, 2026, the mobile service will relocate to Tokma Munjul.

On Thursday, September 3, 2026, the service will be located at Bulog Sadang. On Friday, September 4, 2026, operations will move to the Combro Intersection (Parcom).

Finally, for the weekend on Saturday, September 5, 2026, the mobile service unit will be stationed in front of Purwakarta Station.

Residents wishing to use this mobile service for driver’s license renewal must bring the following requirements, their current valid driver’s license, four photocopies of their electronic ID card (E-KTP), and two photocopies of their BPJS/JKN card.

Facilities for the required health and psychological tests are available on-site at the mobile service location.

The Polres of Purwakarta mobile service operates from 08:00 to 12:00 WIB (Western Indonesian Time) Monday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, service runs from 08:00 to 11:00 WIB.

This mobile driver’s license service is conducted by the Polres of Purwakarta Traffic Unit in accordance with four legal regulations.  First is Law Number 2 of 2002 concerning the Polri (Articles 14 and 15 regarding police duties and authority in the traffic sector).

Next is Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Traffic and Road Transportation (Article 85 regarding the issuance and registration of driver’s licenses).

Following that is the Regulation of the Kapolri Number 5 of 2021 concerning the Issuance and Marking of Driver’s Licenses.

And finally, the Regulation of the Kapolri Number 12 of 2007 concerning Mobile Driver’s License Service Units. (Bembo)
