Kapolri, Jenderal Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo opens the International Association of Women Police (IAWP) Annual Training Conference in Badung, Bali.
progresifjaya.co.id, BADUNG – The Kapolri, Jenderal Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo, expressed his pride in the trust once again placed in Indonesia to host the International Association of Women Police (IAWP) Annual Training Conference. This marks the second time Indonesia has hosted this international conference, following the event held in Labuan Bajo in 2021.
The Kapolri conveyed this sentiment while opening the 63rd IAWP Annual Training Conference 2026 in Bali on Sunday, September 20, 2026.
“It is such an honor for Indonesia to once again be entrusted with hosting the IAWP Conference for the second time, following Labuan Bajo in 2021,” said the Kapolri.
He also welcomed delegates arriving in Bali from various countries. He expressed hope that Bali’s atmosphere and hospitality would provide a positive experience while strengthening ties between police institutions.
According to the Kapolri, the participants are present not merely as representatives of their respective nations, but also in a spirit of friendship and solidarity—united to support one another and deliver the best possible service to the public.
The gathering serves as a platform for policewomen from around the world to exchange experiences, learn from one another, share best practices, expand their networks, and build lasting friendships and cooperation.
This international forum is considered increasingly relevant amidst the ever-evolving challenges of law enforcement. Through strengthened networks, the experiences and knowledge possessed by each nation can be shared to support the execution of police duties.
Furthermore, the Kapolri encouraged all participants to view their diverse nationalities, experiences, and backgrounds as a source of strength for driving meaningful change.
“Together, we empower women. Together, we strengthen policing. Together, we uphold peace. And together, we lead global change,” stated the Kapolri.
