The handover ceremony for the position of Polda of North Sulawesi Deputy Chief from Irjen Pol Awi Setiyono to Brigjen Pol Susetio Cahyadi.

progresifjaya.co.id, MANADO – The position of Deputy Chief (Wakapolda) of Polda of North Sulawesi has officially been handed over from Irjen Pol Awi Setiyono to Brigjen Pol Susetio Cahyadi. The handover ceremony was presided over by the Kapolda of North Sulawesi, Irjen Pol Yudo Hermanto, at the Presisi Field of the Polda of North Sulawesi Headquarters on Monday, September 28, 2026.

This change follows the Kapolri’s Telegram Letter Number ST/1877/VIII/KEP./2026, intended to revitalize the organization. Brigjen Pol Susetio Cahyadi previously served as an Intermediate-Level Lecturer (Widyaiswara Madya) at the Polri Leadership and Staff School (Sespim Lemdiklat Polri). Meanwhile, Irjen Pol Awi Setiyono has now been appointed as a Principal-Level Police Lecturer (Widyaiswara Kepolisian Utama Tk. I) at the same institution.

The ceremony was attended by key officials, Kapolres, members of Bhayangkari (Police Wives Association), and all Polda of North Sulawesi personnel.

AKBP Peter Gosal, Head of the Public Information Sub-sector of the Polda of North Sulawesi Public Relations Sector stated, that this transition is part of organizational dynamics aimed at improving public service.

“This handover of office is part of organizational dynamics as well as the personnel career development process. Every position is a mandate and a responsibility that must be carried out with integrity, professionalism, and dedication,” he said.

The event concluded with a simple farewell gathering in the hall and a send-off ceremony for the outgoing official in the headquarters courtyard. (Bembo)
