progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives (DPR RI) Sufmi Dasco Ahmad summoned three senior officials from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. The three officials summoned were the Chair of the OJK Board of Commissioners, Friderica Widyasari Dewi; the Chief Executive for Capital Market, Derivative Finance, and Carbon Exchange Supervision (PMDK), Hasan Fawzi, and the Chief Executive for Mineral and Strategic Commodity Exchange Supervision (BMKS), Sarjito.

During the meeting, Sufmi Dasco and the three OJK officials discussed financial sector stability to ensure the public remains secure when saving and investing. Sufmi Dasco also emphasized the importance of consistent oversight to maintain public trust.

“Our focus is on the stability of the financial sector so that the public remains secure in saving and investing,” stated Dasco in an official Instagram post on @sufmi_dasco, Tuesday, September 29, 2026.

He noted, that input from the OJK would be conveyed to the relevant commission within the DPR. He also assured that the DPR and OJK would continue to coordinate to strengthen oversight in the financial sector.

“We will pass on the views expressed to the relevant commission. We at the DPR RI will ensure close coordination with the OJK continues, so that financial sector oversight truly works for the people,” he asserted.

Previously, Sufmi Dasco had also convened a meeting with OJK Board of Commissioners Chair Friderica Widyasari Dewi, alongside State Secretary, Prasetyo Hadi, Finance Minister, Suahasil Nazara, Bank Indonesia (BI) Governor, Destry Damayanti, and BPI Danantara Indonesia COO, Dony Oskaria.

During that meeting, Sufmi Dasco reportedly discussed the overall economic situation in depth. However, there were no detailed explanations regarding the meeting.

“Regarding the economy, we are looking at general economic conditions,” said Deputy Finance Minister, Suahasil Nazara when met at the House of Representatives (DPR) building on Thursday, September 24, 2026.

At the time, Dasco also stated via his personal Instagram account that the gathering was a coordination meeting to discuss national economic and financial developments, as well as various dynamics requiring shared attention.
