progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Kapolri, Jenderal Pol Suyudi Ario Seto has rotated a number of high-ranking (Pati) and mid-ranking (Pamen) Polri officers. Several Regional Police Chiefs (Kapolda) were also included in the rotation.

The rotation is outlined in Telegram Letter Number ST/2205/X/KEP./2026, dated October 2, 2026. The reshuffle covers various strategic positions ranging from National Police Headquarters down to the regional level.

Head of the Polri Public Relations Division, Irjen Pol Johnny Eddizon Isir stated, that the rotation and reassignment are part of organizational dynamics aimed at maintaining operational continuity while providing opportunities for personnel career development.

“Reassignments and position rotations are part of the National Police’s organizational dynamics. This is carried out based on organizational needs, as well as for career development and to refresh the execution of police duties,” said Irjen Pol Johnny in his statement in Jakarta on Saturday, September 3, 2026.

The following is the list of Kapolda who were rotated:

1. Kapolda Metro Jaya, Komjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri, has been appointed to a new position as the Irwasum. His position is being taken over by Irjen Pol Dadang Hartanto.
2. The Kapolda of Maluku position, previously held by Irjen Pol Dadang Hartanto, has been taken over by Irjen Pol Suwondo Nainggolan. Previously, Irjen Pol Suwondo served as the Kapolri’s Assistant for Logistics (Aslog).
3. The Kapolda of Riau position, previously held by Irjen Pol Herry Heryawan, has been taken over by Irjen Pol Arman Achdiat. Irjen Pol Herry Heryawan received a promotion to the new position of Head of the Polri Security Maintenance Agency (Kabaharkam).
4. Kapolda of NTT, Irjen Pol Rudi Darmoko, has been replaced by Irjen Pol Reza Arief Dewanto. Irjen Pol Rudi Darmoko has been reassigned as the Head of the Polri Education and Training Institute (Kalemdiklat).
5. Kapolda of West Java, Irjen Pol Pipit Rismanto is replaced by Irjen Pol Hengki, who previously served as Kapolda of Banten. Irjen Pol Pipit has been reassigned as a High-Ranking Officer (Pati) of the Polri for an assignment at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.
6. Kapolda of Banten, Irjen Pol Hengki is replaced by Brigjen Pol Hendra Kurniawan, who previously served as a Senior Police Instructor (Widyaiswara Kepolisian Utama Tk II) at Sespim Lemdiklat Polri (Police Education and Training Institute).
7. Kapolda of Central Java, Irjen Pol Ribut Hari Wibowo is replaced by Brigjen Pol Roy Hardi Siahaan. Irjen Pol Ribut Hari Wibowo has been reassigned as Deputy Head of the Police Education and Training Institute (Wakalemdiklat Polri).
8. Kapolda of East Java, Irjen Pol Nanang Avianto has been reassigned to the position of Senior Police Instructor (Widyaiswara Kepolisian Utama Tk I) at Sespim Lemdiklat Polri. He is replaced by Irjen Pol Dekananto Eko Purwono, who previously served as Deputy Chief of the Polda Metro Jaya.
9. Kapolda of Bali, Irjen Pol Daniel Adityajaya has been reassigned as a High-Ranking Officer (Pati) at the Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim Polri) for an assignment outside the standard organizational structure. His position is taken over by Brigjen Pol Pasma Royce.
10. Kapolda of West Sumatera, Irjen Pol Djati Wiyoto Abadhy is replaced by Irjen Pol Jawari.
11. Kapolda of South Sulawesi, Irjen Pol Djuhandhani Rahardjo Puro is replaced by Irjen Pol Awal Chairuddin.
12. Kapolda of Jambi, Irjen Pol Krisno Halomoan Siregar is replaced by Irjen Pol Widodo.
13. Kapolda of Gorontalo, Irjen Widodo is replaced by Irjen Pol Nurworo Danang.
14. Kapolda of North Sumatera, Irjen Pol Whisnu Hermawan is replaced by Brigjen Pol Sonny Irawan.
15. Kapolda of South Sumatera, Irjen Pol Sandi Nugroho has been reassigned as a High-Ranking Officer (Pati) at the Polri Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) for an assignment outside the standard organizational structure; he is succeeded by Brigjen Pol Rony Samtana.
16. The role of Kapolda of Central Sulawesi previously held by Irjen Pol Nasri, has been entrusted to Irjen Pol Rizal Irawan.
17. Kapolda of West Sulawesi, Irjen Pol Adi Deriyan Jayamarta has been succeeded by Irjen Pol Totok Suharyanto.
18. Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) Kapolda, Irjen Pol Anggoro Sukartono has been reassigned as a High-Ranking Officer (Pati) at the Polri Security Maintenance Agency (Baharkam)—specifically for an assignment with the Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres)—and is succeeded by Irjen Pol Langgeng Purnomo.
19. Kapolda of Riau Islands, Irjen Pol Suhendri has succeeded the previous chief, Irjen Pol Asep Safrudin. Irjen Pol Asep Safrudin has been promoted to Head of the Criminal Investigation Agency (Kabareskrim), replacing Komjen Pol Syahardiantono. (Bembo)
