progresifjaya.co.id, PANGANDARAN – The Pangandaran Polres Traffic Unit, under the leadership of Traffic Chief, AKP Yudi Risnandar, is truly active and responsive in serving the public with a humane approach. Even during the weekend break, Sunday, April 12, 2026, Traffic Unit personnel remain actively deployed to secure the Jamboree event in the coastal area.

Personnel are deployed to maintain smooth traffic flow and maintain public order and safety (kamtibmas). They also actively regulate the flow of vehicles around the event location to ensure orderly and smooth movement.

Personnel are stationed at strategic points to anticipate traffic congestion and facilitate the mobility of jamboree participants and visitors. Close coordination with the organizing committee is also maintained to ensure the safe and conducive running of all activities.

In addition to securing the Jamboree, the Pangandaran Police Traffic Unit also conducts daytime patrols within its jurisdiction. During this activity, personnel actively searched several main roads and areas prone to congestion and traffic violations.

Vehicle flow was continuously monitored, and drivers violating the “selonong boy” (traffic light) regulations were reprimanded. Pedestrians were also assisted when crossing the road. Visitors to tourist locations were also reminded to always obey traffic laws and to look after their belongings to anticipate potential disruptions to public order in the area.

Humanitarian appeals were also made to the general public while on duty to always obey traffic laws. Potential traffic accidents were continuously anticipated to provide a sense of security for road users.

“As members of the Polri, it is our duty and responsibility to provide a sense of security and comfort to the public. We also want to demonstrate that even though Pangandaran is considered a tough area, the security situation in the area remains safe and comfortable to visit,” said AKP Yudi Risnandar.
