Polda Metro Jaya Food Task Force Conducts Spot Check on Minyakita Subsidized Cooking Oil Prices at Pasar Minggu

The Polda Metro Jaya Food Task Force, led by the Head of the Trade Sub-Directorate of the Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya, AKBP Ardila Amry, conducted an unannounced inspection or spot check on food prices, specifically subsidized cooking oil, at Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta.
progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Polda Metro Jaya Food Task Force is conducting spot checks on food prices, particularly subsidized Minyakita cooking oil. This inspection took place at Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, on Friday, April 24, 2026.
This inspection was conducted in response to information about an increase in Minyakita prices that did not comply with the government-set Highest Retail Price (HET).
Head of the Trade and Industry Sub-Directorate of the Polda Metro Jaya Special Criminal Investigation Directorate (Ditreskrimsus), AKBP Ardila Amry who led the spot check said, that this monitoring was carried out to ensure that the prices of staple foods, especially Minyakita, remained stable and in accordance with regulations. Officers also checked the safety and quality of products circulating in the market.
“We are conducting this inspection to ensure that Minyakita prices at the trader level do not exceed the government-set regulations. Together with stakeholders, we are also checking stock availability, safety, and the suitability of products sold to the public,” said AKBP Ardila.
During this inspection, the Polda Metro Jaya Food Task Force inspected several stalls selling Minyakita. Officers also spoke directly with the vendors to determine prices and stock availability.
AKBP Ardila explained, that in addition to price checks, the Food Task Force, along with stakeholders, also provided outreach and education to vendors regarding the Government Reference Price (HAP) and HET regulations.
“We prioritize preventive measures through inspections, outreach, and education. However, if violations are found, such as sales above the reference price or indications of hoarding, action will be taken in accordance with applicable regulations,” she said.
She also emphasized, that the Polda Metro Jaya Food Task Force will continue to conduct regular monitoring to maintain price stability and the availability of Minyakita in the market.
“We are committed to protecting the public from detrimental trade practices. This monitoring will continue to ensure the availability of basic necessities, prices are controlled, and the public receives safe and consumable products,” he concluded.
Also participating in this unannounced inspection were the Head of the Jakarta Industry and Trade Agency, the Head of PD Pasar Jaya, the Head of the Jakarta Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Agency (KPKP), the Head of the Jakarta MSMEs Agency, and the Head of the Jakarta DPMPTSP Agency.
