progresifjaya.co.id, KUNINGAN – The Polres of Kuningan  Traffic Unit held a Yassin thanksgiving prayer and thanksgiving at the Satpas Polres of Kuningan Building on Saturday, May 16, 2026. This event aimed to strengthen Islamic Brotherhood (ukhuwah Islamiyah) and strengthen the morale and motivation of personnel on duty.

This activity is usually held every Saturday. However, unlike the usual event held at the Polres Headquarters Mosque, this time the Satpas Polres of Kuningan was blessed with the opportunity to host the event, including a thanksgiving meal with nasi liwet (liwet rice). The Head of the Polres of Kuningan Traffic Unit, AKP Aktuin Moniharapon, was also present to mingle with his staff.

In his statement, the Head of Registration and Identification (Regident) Polres of Kuningan Traffic Unit, Iptu Budi Hadiawan stated, that the Polres of Kuningan Traffic Unit was deliberately chosen as the location for the event because the Yassin thanksgiving prayer and thanksgiving ceremony were also included.  Traffic Chief AKP Aktuin wanted to add a thanksgiving event to the program in the hope of bolstering the Presisi work spirit among his staff.

“The Traffic Chief wants all his personnel to work with a spirit of predictability, responsibility, and transparency with justice, or Presisi. This applies both to providing excellent service to the public and enforcing the law against violators,” explained Iptu Budi.

He personally praised the Traffic Chief Aktuin’s idea to combine the regular Yassin event with a thanksgiving and communal prayer. This step was considered appropriate and practical for strengthening solidarity among personnel while also boosting their work morale to remain professional in their duties.

“The Traffic Chief has succeeded in strengthening the ukhuwah Islamiyah within his staff and motivating them to work more professionally and provide the best for the community. The Presisi work spirit was strongly felt during the Yassin event, as well as the thanksgiving for nasi liwet (rice porridge) and communal prayer today,” said Iptu Budi, expressing his appreciation.
