DPR RI Leaders Meet with OJK and IDX Leadership, Agree on Better Stock Exchange Governance

The leadership of the DPR RI, represented by Deputy Speaker Sufmi Dasco Ahmad from the Gerindra faction and Deputy Speaker Sari Yuliati from the Golkar Party faction, met with the leadership of the OJK and the IDX.

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) leaders met with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the board of directors of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) at the Nusantara III Building, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Thursday evening, June 18, 2026.

The DPR RI leaders were represented by Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Deputy Speaker of the Gerindra Party, and Sari Yuliati, Deputy Speaker of the Golkar Party. The OJK and IDX were represented by Friderica Widyasari Dewi, Chair of the OJK Board of Directors, and Jeffrey Hendrik, President Director of the IDX.

In a press statement following the meeting, Sufmi Dasco stated, that the DPR had coordinated with the OJK leadership and the new IDX board of directors.

During the coordination, they agreed to commit the new OJK and the new IDX directors to improving stock exchange governance for the future.

The DPR, said Sufmi Dasco, has also conveyed to the OJK the need for improved stock exchange oversight in the future.

“During this lengthy discussion, agreements and common ground were reached for better stock exchange governance going forward,” said Sufmi Dasco.
