progresifjaya.co.id, BOGOR – Polda Metro Jaya received the Nugraha Sakanti Award from President Prabowo Subianto during the 80th Bhayangkara Day commemoration ceremony at the Cikeas Mobile Brigade Corps (Brimob) Training Field in Bogor, West Java, on July 1, 2026. The award was received directly by the Kapolda Metro Jaya, Komjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri, who carried the Pataka Jaya Dharma Sevaka Polda Metro Jaya flag.

The Nugraha Sakanti Award is given as a token of appreciation for dedication, devotion, and contribution to maintaining security and order, as well as providing service to the community, nation, and state.

This award is also stipulated in Presidential Decree No. 37/TK/2026 concerning the Award of the Nugraha Sakanti Medal of Honor, which was read by the Presidential Military Secretary, Mayjen TNI Wahyu Yudhayana.

Responding to the prestigious award, the Kapolda Metro Jaya, Komjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri, expressed his deep gratitude. He stated, that this highest honor from the head of state was the result of the consistency of all ranks in implementing the flagship program “Jaga Jakarta for Indonesia” and the fruit of strong synergy with the community.

“The Nugraha Sakanti Award from President Prabowo is an extraordinary honor and an 80th Bhayangkara Day gift for all Jakarta residents. This achievement is inseparable from the hard work of all Polda Metro Jaya personnel and the collective commitment of community elements who continue to work together to maintain the stability of the capital,” said Komjen Pol Kang Asep ‘Sniper’ on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.

He emphasized, that this award from President Prabowo will serve as a spur for all ranks of the Police, from the Resort Police down to the Sector Police, to improve services, strengthen cross-sectoral coordination, and expand community service.

“This award is a great trust. We are committed to continuing to strengthen collaboration with the Jakarta Provincial Government, the Jakarta Military Command (Kodam Jaya), and the entire community in maintaining the nation’s image and ensuring Jakarta remains stable, safe, and orderly for Indonesia,” he emphasized.

Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’ also emphasized, that all ranks of the Polda Metro Jaya will always support all government programs. President Prabowo’s entire message at the 80th Bhayangkara Day ceremony will serve as his moral compass in carrying out his duties.

“We also emphasize and are ready to implement the President’s directives, point by point. There is no prosperity without stability, and no investment growth without legal certainty. The Polda Metro Jaya is fully committed to being the vanguard in maintaining stability in the capital,” he said.

Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’ also guaranteed, that this commitment will be realized in practice, including by implementing the ongoing “Jaga Jakarta” program. This program will continue to be intensified to ensure that officers remain present and close to the community.
