Celebration of the 80th Anniversary of Bhayangkada at the Polda of West Java.

progresifjaya.co.id, BOGOR – The Polda of West Java received the Nugraha Sakanti Award from President Prabowo Subianto at the commemoration of the 80th Bhayangkara Anniversary. This award recognizes Polri units deemed to have rendered outstanding service to the community.

The award was presented directly by President Prabowo, accompanied by Kapolri, Jenderal Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo, to Kapolda of West Java, Komjen Pol Rudi Setiawan, who also held the Polda of West Java Pataka Ganda Wibawa Cakti at the peak of the 80th Bhayangkara Anniversary celebrations at the Cikeas Mobile Brigade Corps (Brimob) Training Unit, Bogor, on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.

“Receiving the highest award from the president for several achievements. Not all Kapolda receive this award. Only certain Polda have achieved this,” said Wakapolda of West Java, Brigjen Pol Adi Vivid Agustiadi Bachtiar, on the sidelines of the 80th Bhayangkara Anniversary celebrations at the Polda of West Java Headquarters on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.

Wakapolda Vivid also commended the Polda of West Java for their service and dedication to the community and the nation.

Meanwhile, West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi (KDM), who served as the Inspector of the 80th Bhayangkara Anniversary Commemoration Ceremony at the Polda of West Java, also commended the Polri for their continued improvement and reform.

“I see the Polri continuing to reform itself. This is because the Polri is the institution most frequently criticized by the public because of its direct public outreach and service,” said KDM.

“The Polri is patient in the face of various criticisms. We continue to make improvements, carry out internal reforms, and ultimately, the public satisfaction figures released by Kompas Research and Development are relatively high. This reflects simultaneous improvements taking place,” he added.

However, KDM hopes the Polri will not become complacent with the public satisfaction figures, including the current achievements.

“Consider that the Polri still has many shortcomings, so we can continue to improve our services to the public until the people of Indonesia and the people of West Java are satisfied with Polri services,” KDM advised.

Furthermore, KDM also appreciated the synergy between the Polda and the West Java Provincial Government in providing a sense of security and serving the public.
