progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – An assault incident resulting in death occurred on Saturday, July 31, 2026, at approximately 9:00 PM WIB (Western Indonesian Time) at the Plat F Mobile Brigade (Brimob) Dormitory on Jalan K.S. Tubun III, Slipi, Palmerah, West Jakarta.
The victim, Desky Prima Idolakusuma, was reported as a member of the Polri. The perpetrator, Agung Tri Wibowo, was reported as a member of the TNI. This case was also reported to the Polsek of Palmerah on Saturday, August 1, 2026, with registration number LP/B/123/VIII/2026/SPKT/PALMERAH SECTOR/WEST JAKARTA METRO POLICE/JAYA METRO REGIONAL POLICE.
According to a witness to the incident, Aipda Sihombing of the Polres Metro of West Jakarta Provost, the incident began when the witness heard a commotion that prompted him to leave his room. When he left the room, he saw about eight people and saw the victim, Desky Prima, already tied up and in the trunk of a car.
“I then stopped the car and ordered the victim to be removed from the car. When i got out, the victim was tied up and unconscious,” said Aipda Sihombing in his statement.
Meanwhile, witness Brigadir Handoko, a member of the Gegana Mobile Brigade Corps (Brimob) of the Polda Metro Jaya, explained that he received a call from his senior to come downstairs because the victim had already been carried to the car.
As he descended from the fourth floor of the dormitory, he saw the victim already in the trunk of the car. “But my senior, Bang Sihombing, stopped me from reacting immediately. I was asked to guard the victim so the perpetrator wouldn’t take him,” said Brigadir Handoko.
He continued, explaining that the victim was handcuffed in the trunk of the car. His neck and legs were also bound with duct tape.
“I immediately reported what i saw to the Gegana Command Headquarters, and was received by AKP Tarto, the Padal on duty. I reported everything i saw to him,” Brigadir Handoko explained again.
The Head of Public Relations for the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Bhudi Hermanto, asked for time to provide an explanation when asked for clarification on the incident.
“Please give me some time, bro,” he said.
