“It is true, the Cyber ​​Crime Directorate of the Polda Metro Jaya has arrested AFA, the owner of the Instagram account @pemukiman._.setan, in the Cibodas area of ​​Tangerang City,” said the Head of Public Relations for the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Bhudi Hermanto, to the media on Monday, August 31, 2026.

He explained, that in addition to distributing content on making Molotov cocktails, AFA also disseminated provocative writings inciting violence against law enforcement officers. However, Kombes Polp Bhudi clarified that AFA’s arrest was unrelated to posts regarding an attack on GRIB Jaya (Gerakan Rakyat Indonesia Bersatu Jaya) that had been circulating on social media.

“The arrest is not related to posts about an attack on GRIB. It concerns the alleged distribution of content containing a list of ingredients and instructions for making Molotov cocktails and incendiary devices, accompanied by provocative text inciting violence against officers or specific targets,” he explained.
