progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – To oversee and secure 37 scheduled public expression events within the DKI Jakarta jurisdiction, the Polda Metro Jaya have deployed a joint force of 17.628 personnel. They will be fully dedicated to supporting service and security operations for all these activities.

Polda Metro Jaya Deputy Chief, Irjen Pol Dekananto Eko Purwono, reminded all personnel in a statement to prioritize patience and a humanistic approach while on duty.

“Above all, we must remain truly patient and not allow ourselves to be provoked,” he said.

Meanwhile, Polda Metro Jaya Head of Public Relations, Kombes Pol Bhudi Hermanto stated, that the public expression events are spread across several locations in Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta. Key areas receiving close attention include the DPR/MPR RI complex, the Bundaran HI–Dukuh Atas area, and the Monas South Intersection.

Of the 17.628 deployed personnel, 4.998 have been stationed at the DPR/MPR RI complex. This force comprises personnel from the Polri, the TNI, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, and the DPR/MPR RI internal security unit (Pamdal).

“The execution of duties will continue to prioritize a communicative style, a humanistic approach, and coordination to ensure that the expression of aspirations proceeds in an orderly manner, while other public activities continue as usual,” said Kombes Pol Bhudi.

Traffic management schemes will be implemented situationally, adjusting to traffic flow conditions and developments on the ground. This measure is taken to maintain resident mobility and support economic activities, education, religious worship, and other public interests.

Kombes Pol Bhudi also urged all participants to express their aspirations in an orderly and peaceful manner. All participants are also urged to follow the officers’ instructions, respect members of the public engaged in other activities, and collectively help preserve public facilities.

“Personnel in the field have been instructed to act professionally and humanely. We hope that all activities proceed in an orderly manner and that the public’s daily activities continue smoothly,” he explained. (Bembo)
