Assisting Residents Affected by Drought, Polres Kuningan Distribute Clean Water to Hantara Village
The Kuningan Police conducted a social outreach initiative by distributing clean water to the residents of Hantara Village.

A recent example of this commitment was a social outreach initiative to distribute clean water to residents in need, carried out on Friday afternoon, October 16, 2026.
This initiative serves as a tangible expression of care for community members struggling with a lack of clean water due to the dry season.
The humanitarian effort was led directly by the Kapolres Kuningan l, AKBP Bellen Anggara Pratama, in Hantara Village, Ciniru District, Kuningan Regency. The activity took place starting at 14:00 WIB.
Accompanying the Kapolres were Wakapolres, Kompol Eryda Kusumah, Head of Community Policing (Kasat Binmas) AKP Nurjani, Head of the Narcotics Unit (Kasat Narkoba), AKP Arif Zaenal Abidin; Head of the Public Order Unit (Kasat Samapta),AKP Mukhali, Head of Public Relations, AKP Mugiyono, Kapolsek Ciniru, Iptu Asep Saeful Rakhman; as well as personnel from the Polsek Ciniru and the Polres Kuningan Community Policing Unit.
The clean water was distributed to alleviate the burden on the residents of Hantara Village—home to approximately 668 households—as the area is currently facing a clean water crisis brought on by a prolonged dry season.
In his statement, Kapolres Kuningan, AKBP Bellen Anggara Pratama emphasized, that this social outreach demonstrates the Polri’s presence and genuine concern for a community in need.
“We are distributing this clean water as a swift response to the needs of residents affected by the drought. Hopefully, this assistance will help ease the burden of meeting daily water requirements for the people of Hantara Village,” said Kapolres Bellen Anggara.
The entire clean water distribution initiative in Hantara Village proceeded safely, smoothly, and in an orderly manner, and was met with great enthusiasm by the local community. (Bembo)
