Promoting Better Driving Discipline, Polres Kuningan Intensify Outreach and Safety Advisories for Operasi Patuh Lodaya 2026

The Polres Kuningan are conducting intensive outreach on traffic compliance for the residents of Kuningan Regency as part of Operasi Patuh Lodaya 2026.
progresifjaya.co.id, KUNINGAN — The Polres Kuningan are intensifying their outreach and safety advisories—focused on traffic security, safety, order, and smooth traffic flow—to the public. These educational and preventive efforts are being carried out as part of Operasi Patuh Lodaya 2026, a 14-day operation running from October 26 to November 8, 2026.
The outreach activities are taking place at various strategic locations throughout the Kuningan Regency jurisdiction, including busy public hubs, public transport terminals, and major intersections, as well as through direct engagement with community groups and schools.
Officers from the Polres Kuningan Traffic Unit are distributing brochures and safety-themed pamphlets, while also providing direct guidance on the importance of adhering to traffic regulations.
Kapolres Kuningan, AKBP Bellen Anggara Pratama stated, that Operasi Patuh Lodaya 2026 emphasizes a persuasive, educational, and humanistic approach aimed at reducing accident-related fatalities and raising awareness among motorists.
Law enforcement measures—ranging from electronic traffic law enforcement (ETLE) to sympathetic warnings—are focused on specific priority violations that frequently serve as the primary causes of accidents.
Priority Targets for Operasi Patuh Lodaya 2026:
• Motorists using mobile phones while driving or riding.
• Underage drivers or riders.
• Motorcyclists carrying more than one passenger.
• Motorcyclists and passengers not wearing helmets that meet SNI (Indonesian National Standard) requirements.
• Drivers of four-wheeled vehicles failing to use seatbelts.
• Motorists driving against the flow of traffic.
• Driving under the influence of alcohol or illicit substances.
• Exceeding the prescribed speed limit.
• Using exhaust systems that do not meet technical specifications (i.e., loud or non-compliant exhausts).
Through the Operasi Patuh Lodaya 2026 initiative, the Polres Kuningan urge all residents of Kuningan to view road safety as a collective necessity—rather than merely an obligation imposed by the presence of officers in the field. Practicing disciplined driving, starting with oneself, is the most effective step toward protecting both the individual and other road users. (Bembo)
