progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Sub-Directorate 2 of the Polda Metro Jaya Narcotics Directorate has successfully busted a marijuana trafficking syndicate in the Duren Jaya area of East Bekasi, Bekasi City. Three suspects, two men and one woman, were apprehended along with 83 kilograms of marijuana ready for distribution.

The Head of Sub-Directorate 2 of the Polda Metro Jaya Narcotics Directorate, AKBP Parikhesit, stated in an official statement, that his team’s success in busting this trafficking syndicate was due to the support of reports from the Duren Jaya community, Bekasi City.

Based on the reports received from the community, the Sub-Directorate 2 Opsnal Team from the Polda Metro Jaya Narcotics Directorate conducted an investigation and further investigation. Subsequently, a search of the suspect’s home in the Duren Jaya area was conducted. As a result, dozens of packages of marijuana ready for distribution, weighing 83 kilograms, were seized.

“From the investigation, it was discovered that the three suspects arrested were part of a network from which the evidence originated in Mandailing Natal Regency, North Sumatra. Alhamdulillah, with this successful arrest, we estimate that we have saved 250.000 lives from the dangers of drugs,” explained AKBP Parikhesit, emphasizing. (Bembo)
