progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Polda Metro Jaya have abolished the odd-even traffic policy for vehicles in Jakarta during the Eid al-Fitr 1447 H holiday period, from March 18 to 25, 2026. This policy is in accordance with national holidays, including Eid al-Fitr.

“The implementation of the odd-even traffic policy is in accordance with the national holiday schedule, including the Eid al-Fitr holiday from March 18 to 25,” explained Kapolda Metro Jaya, Irjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri to the media at Pulo Gebang Terminal, East Jakarta, Saturday, March 14, 2026.

As is known, during the Eid al-Fitr holiday period, Polda Metro Jaya conducted an integrated police operation, Operation Ketupat Jaya 2026. A total of 6.802 joint personnel were deployed to secure the homecoming and return traffic during the Eid al-Fitr holiday.

Thousands of personnel are deployed at various strategic locations to ensure the smooth and safe journey of people traveling home for Eid.

The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Bhudi Hermanto, stated in a statement, that the Polda Metro Jaya has prepared 68 security and service posts to assist people traveling home for Eid.

These posts are not only intended to provide information regarding traffic flow, traffic congestion, and alternative routes. They also serve as service points for travelers who need assistance during their journey.

Rest areas for drivers experiencing fatigue or drowsiness are also available at these posts. They also provide assistance to address issues such as flat tires or other technical issues. (Bembo)
