Jordan Walsh, Boston Celtics’ Best Player to Watch in Last Night’s Loss to the Milwaukee Bucks

Boston Celtics guard Jordan Walsh (27) dunks during an NBA game against an Eastern Conference team.
progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Boston Celtics’ five-game winning streak came to an end on Thursday, December 11th night against the Milwaukee Bucks. However, there was one positive aspect of the performance.
Third-year forward Jordan Walsh scored 20 points, nearly matching his career-high 22 points. This earned him Man of the Match honors and a “Name to Know” in the match against the Bucks, who currently sit 10th in the Eastern Conference standings.
Walsh has continued his impressive offensive form since being added to the starting five last month. In last night’s 116-101 loss against the Bucks, he scored 20 points on 8-of-10 shooting, along with 8 rebounds (4 offensive rebounds) and 3 steals.
Last night’s game also marked Walsh’s third double-digit scoring performance in his last four games. He maintained the momentum of his excellent performance with the Boston Celtics.
Walsh has been a valuable defensive player since being added to the starting five. But his offensive development is also attracting attention.
This December, Walsh averaged 15.5 points per game on a remarkable 81 percent shooting percentage from the field and 75 percent from 3-point range. Those strong shooting numbers continued against the Bucks last night. However, he was the only Boston player to be efficient.
The Boston Celtics missed 16 consecutive 3-point attempts at one point in the second half and shot just 26 percent from the field after halftime in the loss.
Walsh and the Boston Celtics, currently ranked third in the Eastern Conference, have just three days to regroup. They will try to bounce back on Monday night against the number one Detroit Pistons at TD Garden. (Bembo)
