progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The acid attack on KontraS Deputy Coordinator Andrie Yunus has been resolved. Four suspected perpetrators, members of the TNI, have been arrested and detained by Military Police Center
(Puspom TNI).

The Commander of the Puspom TNI, Mayjen TNI Yusri Nuryanto in an official statement during a press conference at TNI Headquarters, stated, that the four suspected perpetrators were handed over by the Commander Team (Dantim) of the Strategic Intelligence Agency
(BAIS) TNI. The perpetrators have the initials Kapten NDP, Lettu SL, Lettu BHW, and Serda ES.

“We have now detained the four suspected perpetrators at Puspom TNI for further investigation,” said Mayjen TNI Yusri on Wednesday, March 18, 2026.

He stated, that Puspom TNI is still conducting intensive questioning of the four suspected perpetrators. Puspom TNI is still investigating the motive behind the acid attack on Andrie Yunus.

“The four have been named as suspects. The article they are charged with is Article 467 of the Criminal Code, Law Number 1 of 2023. Paragraphs 1 and 2 clearly state the penalties, including four and seven years in prison,” he emphasized. (Bembo)
