progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, met with President Prabowo Subianto at the Merdeka Palace on Thursday, April 16, 2026. The two leaders discussed several strategic matters following the Head of State’s visits to Russia and France.

“Today, President Prabowo Subianto received Deputy Speaker of the DPR RI, Prof. Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, at the Merdeka Palace on April 16, 2026, to receive a report on several strategic matters following President Prabowo’s return from his overseas trip,” wrote Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya in a written statement.

He stated, that President Prabowo received strategic information on domestic developments during the meeting. During the meeting, Sufmi Dasco also briefed President Prabowo on a number of recent developments, ranging from politics to the national economy.

“During the meeting, Deputy Speaker of the DPR RI, Prof. Sufmi Dasco, conveyed several developments in the national political, security, and economic situation. He also provided input from the DPR’s legislative function to the government,” Teddy added.
