progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Kapolda Metro Jaya, Irjen Pol Edi Suheri led a roll call of the Mobile Brigade (Brimob) Unit of the Polda Metro Jaya. The roll call was held at the Polda Metro Jaya Presisi Field on Monday, April 20, 2026, and was attended by 2,098 Brimob personnel.

This roll call was held to assess personnel’s readiness for future duties. In his direction, Irjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri stated, that Brimob personnel must provide humane service and avoid hurting the public.

Brimob personnel must also be able to carry out their duties professionally, measurably, and accountably. According to him, every task must be carried out with full responsibility and always prioritize a humane attitude towards the public.

To the newly appointed Brimob personnel, Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’ also emphasized the need to quickly adapt to the dynamics of duties within the Polda Metro Jaya jurisdiction. He also reminded them that the honor of being a member of the Polri must be reflected in discipline, loyalty, and responsibility.

“The honor you bear must be embodied in every performance of your duties. Be disciplined, loyal, and capable of upholding the institution’s good name,” he emphasized.

Furthermore, Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’ also urged all personnel to maintain readiness, safety, and unity while on duty. He also reiterated the need for all personnel to always provide good service and a sense of security to the public.

“Take note, never hurt the public’s feelings. Demonstrate a firm Brimob without arrogance. Be ready to act with full control and always be present to provide a sense of security,” he reiterated.

In addition to providing direction and emphasis, Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’ also expressed his appreciation for the enthusiasm and readiness of all personnel. He also reminded that the members’ readiness is not only demonstrated by the strength of the troops, but also by their discipline, composure, and responsibility in carrying out their duties.

At the end of the briefing, the Brimob slogan of devotion was delivered as motivational diction to strengthen the spirit of unity.

“Show a Brimob that is firm without arrogance. Ready to act with full control. Remember our motto: Once You Step, Never Give Up, Once You Perform, You Must Succeed. Brimob for humanity,” he exclaimed enthusiastically.
