Kapolda Metro Jaya, Irjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri, presented the Kapolri’s Gold Pin to eight outstanding personnel of the Polda Metro Jaya Narcotics Directorate who successfully uncovered an international drug network and recovered a large amount of evidence.

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Eight personnel from the Polda Metro Jaya’s Narcotics Directorate who achieved significant success in uncovering a transnational international narcotics network involving approximately 516 kilograms of methamphetamine were awarded the Kapolri Gold Pins. The award was presented by the Kapolda Metro Jaya, Irjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri, during the Pamen roll call held in the front yard of the Polda Metro Jaya’s Special Crimes Directorate Building on Wednesday, April 22, 2026.

The award was given to personnel deemed to have performed exceptionally well in uncovering an international narcotics network involving a large amount of evidence. This success also demonstrates the Polda Metro Jaya’s commitment to eradicating illicit drug trafficking.

The eight personnel from the Polda Metro Jaya’s Narcotics Directorate who received the award were the Director of Narcotics Investigation of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Ahmad David, Deputy Director of Narcotics Investigation of the Polda Metro Jaya, AKBP Dr. Dedy Anung, Head of Sub-Directorate 3 of the Polda Metro Jaya Narcotics Directorate, AKBP Ade Candra, AKP Abdul Muchzin Guntur Muarif, AKP Abdul Muchzin Guntur Muarif, Ipda Hermanto, Aiptu Yanto, Briptu Nachroy Noer Arifin, and Briptu Dava Rizki Aulia R.

In his address, the Kapolda Metro Jaya stated, that the award was a token of appreciation from his leadership for the dedication, hard work, and extraordinary achievements of his personnel in the field in uncovering an international narcotics network.

“This award is given as a token of appreciation for the outstanding performance of our members in uncovering an international narcotics network with 516 kilograms of methamphetamine as evidence,” said Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’.

“I congratulate you on your success, and i ask that this achievement be maintained and even further improved. This is not just an individual achievement, but also the result of hard work and team synergy,” he added.

He also emphasized, that the successful discovery of this large amount of evidence has had a broad impact on society, as it has saved many generations of the nation from the threat of drugs. The Kapolda hopes, that this achievement will motivate all personnel to continue working professionally, with integrity, and consistently in eradicating drug trafficking.

The presentation of awards to personnel of the Polda Metro Jaya Narcotics Directorate is also expected to spur the enthusiasm of all Polda Metro Jaya members to continuously improve their performance and to provide the best possible service to the community, nation, and state.
