Argo Bromo Anggrek Train Collides with Commuter Line in East Bekasi, Polda Metro Jaya Urge Public to Visit Polri Hospital Post for Body Identification

Evacuation process for victims of the collision between the long-distance Argo Bromo Anggrek train and the Commuter Line commuter train at East Bekasi Station.
progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Of the 15 fatalities recorded in the collision between the Argo Bromo train and the Commuter Line at East Bekasi Station, 10 have been evacuated to the Kramat Jati Polri Hospital, East Jakarta.
“Currently, there are 10 body bags of deceased victims at Kramat Jati Hospital, and their identities have not yet been identified,” said the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Bhudi Hermanto, to the media on Tuesday, April 28, 2026.
Furthermore, Kombes Pol Bhudi Hermanto also urged the public who have lost family members to visit the post at the Polri Hospital for the identification process.
“Residents searching for their loved ones can immediately go to the Kramat Jati Polri Hospital post,” he said.
The tragic accident involving the Argo Bromo train and the Commuter Line commuter train occurred on Monday evening, April 27, 2026. The accident occurred when the commuter train that was hit was stopped due to another train that had been hit by a taxi at the crossing at East Bekasi Station.
The violent collision resulted in the rear women’s carriage being torn apart by the Argo Bromo train. This incident not only resulted in the fatality but also injured dozens of others.
