progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Polri commended the workers who expressed their aspirations in an orderly manner during the commemoration of International Workers’ Day, or May Day, held at the National Monument (Monas) in Jakarta, as well as in several other regions in Indonesia on Friday, May 1, 2026.

The Polri assessed that the peaceful demonstration demonstrated an orderly approach to expressing opinions. It also fostered a spirit of mutual respect between the protesters and security forces on the ground.
