ML Arrested by Polres Metro of Depok Criminal Investigation Unit for Cocky Kicking Ambulance

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA — A cocky man with the initials ML was arrested by the Polres Metro of Depok Criminal Investigation Unit after he kicked an ambulance on Jalan Moch Nail, Bakti Jaya, Sukmajaya, Depok City. The incident occurred as the ambulance was on its way to pick up a traffic accident victim on Sunday, May 10, 2026.
Kapolres Metro of Depok, Kombes Pol Abdul Waras stated, that the cocky perpetrator was arrested by the Polres Metro of Depok Criminal Investigation Unit’s Operational Team that evening in the Cilodong area of Depok.
“After receiving the report, the team immediately conducted an investigation and identified the perpetrator. That evening, he was successfully apprehended,” said Kombes Pol Abdul Waras in a statement on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.
He explained, that the incident, ML’s cocky act, began when the ambulance driven by the complainant was on its way to the accident scene. While asking for passage, an argument ensued between the ambulance driver and the perpetrator.
“From the initial investigation, the perpetrator is suspected of kicking the front of the ambulance, causing damage to the front left bumper,” said Kombes Pol Abdul Waras.
The asshole ML perpetrator is now parked at the Polres Metro of Depok Station for questioning. A black Honda Beat motorcycle used by the perpetrator during the incident was also confiscated.
Recalling this incident, Kapolres Kombes Pol Abdul Waras also appealed to the public to understand the importance of giving priority to ambulances and other emergency vehicles on duty.
“We remind the public to give way to ambulances. Emergency vehicles are on a humanitarian mission and require quick access to ensure life safety. Don’t be like the reckless ML perpetrator who kicked the ambulance,” said Kombes Pol Abdul Waras.
