progresifjaya.co.id,  JAKARTA – The Palmerah SPPG Greenhouse at the Polda Metro Jaya harvested mustard greens and patin fish on Monday, May 11, 2026. This harvest is being prepared to support the nutritional needs of the menu at the Palmerah SPPG.

Senior Police Auditor Level III of the Polda Metro Jaya Regional Supervision Inspectorate (Itwasda), Kombes Pol Ardanto stated, that the mustard greens were harvested from three planting tables. The total harvest is estimated to reach 80 kilograms. Approximately 560 patin fish were harvested.

Kombes Pol Ardanto also stated, that these fish are part of the protein supply chain ecosystem for the Palmerah SPPG’s raw material needs.

“We are currently harvesting 80 kilograms of mustard greens and approximately 560 patin fish. These will be used as raw materials at the Palmerah SPPG,” he said.

He explained, that the harvested mustard greens were hydroponically cultivated and pesticide-free. The planting and harvesting process took approximately one month. This harvest was the second cycle for the Palmerah SPPG (Food and Drug Monitoring Center).

“Going forward, this production will be sustainable. We also plan to supply the needs of other SPPGs within the Polda Metro Jaya, which are under the auspices of the Kemala Bhayangkari Foundation,” said Kombes Pol Ardanto.

Meanwhile, fish cultivation is being carried out sustainably. From the beginning, Kombes Pol Ardanto continued, they released approximately 3.000 fish seeds. Harvesting is carried out in portions, adjusting to fish growth and the capacity of the biofloc pond.

“In principle, this is part of food security. We are preparing raw material sources while maintaining the sustainability of the supply chain within the Palmerah SPPG,” he added.

Meanwhile, Mustaqim, Head of the Polres Metro of West Jakarta SPPG, Palmerah said, that the harvested ingredients will be used for the next day’s menu. The vegetables will be processed into boiled mustard greens and garlic bok choy.  Meanwhile, the fish will be processed into crispy fillets, and some will be ground into dumplings.

“Today we received the raw materials from the Polda Metro Jaya Greenhouse. We will use these ingredients for tomorrow’s menu,” said Mustaqim.

Mustaqim explained, that the Palmerah Polri SPPG serves six schools and three integrated health posts (Posyandu). The total number of beneficiaries reached 2.529 people, consisting of students, toddlers, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers.
