progresifjaya.co.id, CIREBON – To commemorate the 80th anniversary of Bhayangkara, the Cirebon City (Ciko) Polres Traffic Unit held a social service activity by distributing clean water to residents of RW 08, Argasunya Village, Harjamukti District, Cirebon City, on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.

This activity was carried out as a manifestation of the Polri’s concern for the community who need a clean water supply for their daily needs.

The Head of the Ciko Polres Traffic Unit, AKP Hadi Suryanto stated in a statement, that this social activity was held as part of the 80th Bhayangkara Day commemoration, not only focusing on ceremonies but also taking concrete action for the community.

He stated, that the presence of the Polri must provide direct benefits to the community, especially through social activities that directly address residents’ basic needs. One such activity is helping provide clean water to those in need.

“Through this activity, we want to be closer to the community. We hope this clean water assistance can help meet their daily needs,” said AKP Hadi Suryanto.

During the clean water distribution, personnel from the Ciko Polres Traffic Unit were also seen interacting directly with residents. They attentively listened to the various aspirations and input from the community. A friendly and enjoyable atmosphere was evident during the distribution process.

In addition to helping meet household needs such as cooking, bathing, and washing, this activity also served as a means to strengthen the relationship between the Polri and the community. This emotional closeness is expected to increase public trust in the police institution.

Residents receiving assistance expressed their gratitude for the concern shown by the Ciko Polres. They considered the clean water assistance to be a significant help to the community, especially amidst the high demand for clean water.
