progresifjaya.co.id, PONTIANAK – Indonesia’s national volleyball club, Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi, will face South Korean representative Hyundai Capital Skywalkers in the 2026 AVC Champions League semifinals.

Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi secured their place in the 2026 AVC Champions League semifinals after defeating Kazakhstan’s Zhaiyk 3-1 at the Ahmad Yani Integrated Sports Hall in Pontianak, West Kalimantan, on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.

This victory was actually predicted from the start, considering that Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi boasts three world-class players: Rok Mozic (Slovenia), Noumory Keita (Mali/Italy), and Robertlandy Simon (Cuba).

Meanwhile, Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi’s opponent for a place in the final is Hyundai Capital Skywalkers. No one expected Hyundai Capital Skywalkers to advance to the semifinals.  Their opponent in the preliminary round was Al Rayyan, the defending AVC Champions League champions.

However, the Hyundai Capital Skywalkers defied expectations by defeating Al Rayyan 3-1 to advance to the semifinals.

The Hyundai Capital Skywalkers are currently coached by Philippe Blain, a French tactician who previously managed the Japanese men’s national volleyball team.

The semifinal between Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi and Hyundai Capital Skywalkers is scheduled for Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 7:00 PM WIB.
