The perpetrator of the theft of goods from a SAP Express Courier box truck at the Cilincing Flats Bridge, Marunda Access Road, Cilincing, North Jakarta, identified as RS aka B, was arrested by the Polsek of Cilincing Criminal Investigation Unit. progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – A man identified as RS, aka B, was arrested by the Polsek of Cilincing Criminal Investigation Unit on suspicion of stealing items from a SAP Express Courier box truck at the Cilincing Flats Bridge, Jalan Akses Marunda, Cilincing, North Jakarta. RS aka B’s theft, previously went viral on social media.

Kapolres Metro of North Jakarta, Kombes Pol Erick Frendriz stated in a statement, that the theft occurred on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at around 9:00 PM WIB. At the time, the box truck was passing through the area and was stuck in traffic.

“This incident began with a viral video on social media. After receiving the information, the Polsek of Cilincing  immediately inspected the scene and followed up on the alleged theft,” said Kapolres Kombes Pol Erick, on Monday, May 18, 2026.

In the viral video circulating, two men are seen taking items from a box truck. The item taken was a box of DIY Laiyin brand building blocks.

Kombes Pol Erick further stated, that the Polsek of Cilincing Criminal Investigation Team, led by AKP M Fauzan Yonnadi, immediately inspected the scene on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at around 2:50 a.m. Western Indonesian Time. Police also searched for witnesses and victims and secured evidence.

From the investigation, one perpetrator, identified as RS alias B, was finally apprehended. He, along with the evidence, was then taken to the Polsek of Cilincing  for further questioning.

“For now, one suspected perpetrator has been apprehended. We are still investigating to find another perpetrator and explore possible other evidence,” said Kombes Pol Erick.

Furthermore, he also urged the public to immediately report any victims or witnesses of criminal activity in their neighborhood.
Reports can be made to the nearest police station or by calling the Polri Call Center at 110 for immediate action.

“The public should not hesitate to report. We will definitely follow up on every piece of information and report,” said Kombes Pol Erick.
