The Polri held a dhikr (remembrance) and prayer gathering at the Al-Ikhlas Mosque, Polri Headquarters, Jakarta, as part of the 80th Bhayangkara Day commemoration.

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Indonesian National Police (Polri) held a joint dhikr and prayer at the Al-Ikhlas Mosque at the National Police Headquarters, Jakarta, on Thursday, June 25, 2026, as part of the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of Bhayangkara. This activity followed the Ceremony for the Glorification of Tribrata Values ​​or the Purification of the Rastra Sewakottama Banners, led by Kapolri, Jenderal Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

The dhikr and prayer were attended virtually by Senior Officials at the Polri Headquarters, heads of work units, and police officers from across Indonesia. This activity served as a form of gratitude to God Almighty and a means of asking for strength, protection, and smoothness in carrying out their duties of service to the community, nation, and state.

A solemn atmosphere characterized the dhikr and prayer at the Al-Ikhlas Mosque.  Through this activity, all Polri personnel were encouraged to reflect on the Tribrata values ​​as moral and ethical guidelines in carrying out their police duties.

The Head of the Polri History Center, Brigjen Pol Abas Basuni, stated, that the series of Tribrata Values ​​Glorification activities, followed by dhikr (remembrance of God) and collective prayer, held profound significance for all Bhayangkara personnel, especially in welcoming the 80th anniversary of Polri’s service.

“I believe this is an excellent opportunity to recall the noble Tribrata values ​​that guide the lives of Polri members. Through dhikr and collective prayer, we ask God Almighty to grant Polri the strength, protection, and ability to carry out their duties of community service to the best of their ability,” said Brigjen Pol Abas Basuni.

He also expressed his hope that, as Polri approaches its 80th anniversary, it will become more professional, adaptive, and solution-oriented in facing various challenges, and will become closer to the community.  According to him, the values ​​embodied in the Tribrata Values ​​Glorification tradition must continue to be internalized by all members as a foundation for providing the best service to the public.

“Our hope is that in its 80th year, the Polri will become more professional, more loved by the public, and continue to provide precise service. The Tribrata values ​​embodied in each of these activities should serve as a guideline for all members in carrying out their duties and responsibilities,” explained Brigjen Pol Abas Basuni.

Through this dhikr (remembrance) and prayer gathering, the Polri also reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining integrity, strengthening the spirit of devotion, and improving the quality of service to the public.

This activity also served as a spiritual opportunity for all Polri personnel to ask for blessings and safety in carrying out their mandate as protectors, guardians, and servants of the public.
