Ahead of Bhayangkara’s 80th Anniversary, Kapolres of Purwakarta Visits Retired Police Officers and Active Personnel Who Are Sick

Kapolres of Purwakarta, AKBP I Dewa Putu Gede Anom Danujaya, and his staff conducted a humanitarian visit to retired and active police personnel who were suffering from illness.
progresifjaya.co.id, PURWAKARTA – The Polres of Purwakarta celebrated the 80th anniversary of Bhayangkara with a humanitarian social action. Kapolres of Purwakarta, AKBP I Dewa Putu Gede Anom Danujaya, accompanied by the Head of the Purwakarta Bhayangkara Branch, Mrs. Chandra Dewa Anom, and other officers, conducted humanitarian visits to retired police officers and active personnel who are currently ill.
This touching and emotional outreach included a marathon visit to the homes of Retired Kompol Karomanis and Retired Kombes Pol Dra. Atih Nursani Purwati. The visit also included visiting AKP Yuli Minarti, who is currently undergoing intensive medical treatment.
Accompanying Kapolres I Dewa Putu Gede Anom Danujaya on this humanitarian visit were Wakapolres of Purwakarta, Kompol Yudiono, Head of Human Resources, AKP Randy Freshtiadi, Head of Criminal Investigation, AKP I Made Purwantara, Head of Propam, Ipda Irman Sutris, and members of the Bhayangkara management on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.
During his warm and friendly visit, the Kapolres and his entourage handed over packages of gifts and also offered motivation and moral support directly. This gesture reflects the strong and well-maintained bond within the Brown Shirt Corps, which will never be broken by the limitations of retirement regulations or length of service.
In his statement, Kapolres I Dewa Putu Gede Anom Danujaya stated, that this visit was a reiteration of a sacred tradition that must be upheld during every Bhayangkara Day celebration. He also wanted to ensure that retired and ill members could continue to feel the warm embrace of the institution.
Because, no matter what, the foundation of the Polri’s progress today cannot be separated from the track record of dedication and the foundation built by their predecessors.
“This visit is a noble form of respect for our seniors who have dedicated their youth to the nation. It also demonstrates empathy and real concern for our members who are struggling to recover their health,” said Kapolres I Dewa Putu Gede Anom Danujaya.
Polres of Purwakarta Public Relations Chief, Iptu Tini Yutini also provided an explanation. She stated, that the internal solidarity displayed serves as an educational message to the wider community about the importance of maintaining relationships and appreciating the services of our predecessors.
“Through the harmony demonstrated, the Polres of Purwakarta send a strong message that the spirit of service is not only about maintaining public order and security on the streets, but also about a mature sense of humanity within the institution itself,” explained Iptu Tini.
