progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Polres Metro of North Jakarta held a Mobile Legends Tournament to commemorate Bhayangkara’s 80th anniversary. Fifty-four teams participated in the event and it ran for seven days, from June 20 to 27, 2026.

Kapolres Metro of North Jakarta, Kombes Pol Erick Frendriz stated in a statement, that this tournament provided a positive platform for the younger generation to develop an interest in e-sports, while also avoiding brawls, drug use, and other negative activities.

“This 80th Bhayangkara Day Mobile Legends Tournament was held thanks to the support and encouragement of all parties. Up until the climax of the event, the entire series of activities ran smoothly, orderly, and conducively,” he said.

Kombes Pol Erick also stated, that the Polri always supports creative activities that can foster sportsmanship, teamwork, and achievement among young people.

“With activities like this, we want the younger generation to have a positive platform. They can compete, build achievements, and stay away from detrimental activities like brawls and drugs,” he said.

Of the 54 participating teams, the tournament is down to four. GELKASA ACADEMY will face E-TEAM ESPORT for third place, while BATCAVE will face ARMAGEDON in the final.

Kombes Pol Erick hopes the participants will demonstrate their best abilities and uphold sportsmanship.

“Hopefully, the winners of this competition can advance to the next level and bring good name to North Jakarta,” he said.

This tournament received support from various parties, including the North Jakarta City Government, Pelindo (Pelindo), MAG (Magician Association of Indonesia), and student elements from Cipayung Plus, HMI (Indonesian Student Association of Indonesia), Hikmah Budhi (Indonesian Student Association of Indonesia), and KA (Indonesian Student Association of Indonesia).

Through this activity, the Polres Metro of North Jakarta hope that the spirit of sportsmanship and creativity of the younger generation will continue to grow. This 80th Bhayangkara Day momentum also serves as an invitation for young people to be more active in spending their time with positive activities, achieve achievements, and stay away from brawls and drugs.
