progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Kapolri has again rotated several mid-level officers (pamen) to high-ranking officers (pati). One of these positions is the Head of the Polri’s International Relations Division.

In a telegram letter numbered ST/1584/VII/KEP./2026 dated July 30, 2026, several high-ranking officers were transferred. One of them was Brigjen Pol Untung Widyatmoko, who was promoted to Head of the Polri’s International Relations Division.

“Brigjen Pol Dr. Untung Widyatmoko, NCB Secretary Polri’s International Relations Division, was appointed to the new position of Head of the Polri’s International Relations Division,” the telegram read, quoted on Friday, July 31, 2026.

Brigjen Pol Untung replaces Irjen Pol Amur Chandra Juli Buana. Irjen Pol Amur was transferred to the position of Head of the Polri’s International Relations Division due to his retirement.

Meanwhile, replacing Brigjen Pol Untung at the NCB Secretary of the Polri’s International Transportation Division, the Kapolri appointed Brigjen Pol Dani Hamdani. Previously, Brigjen Pol Dani Hamdani served as Senior Translator for the Second Level of the Polri’s International Transportation Division.

During his tenure as Secretary of the NCB of the Polri’s International Transportation Division, Brigjen Pol Untung Widyatmoko achieved several notable achievements. Among them was the capture of several Interpol fugitives.

One of them was Michael Steven, the boss of Kresna Life, who had been a fugitive from the Polri since June 2026. Under the leadership of Brigjen Pol Untung, Interpol Indonesia successfully repatriated Steven Michael, who was arrested in Morocco at the time.

Most recently, Brigjen Pol Untung and his team also successfully arrested Leny Agustya, a fugitive in a human trafficking case involving illegal migrant workers to Cambodia. Leny Agustya was listed on Interpol’s wanted list for sending two Indonesian citizens to Cambodia to work as online gambling operators.
