Kapolsek of Cengkareng, AKP Rahis Fathlillah

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – A man identified as AIN was caught in a traffic accident after riding his motorcycle against the traffic flow. When the police stopped and searched his black Honda Beat Street motorcycle, they discovered he was carrying thousands of Schedule G hard drugs. The drugs were stored in the trunk of his motorcycle.

The incident occurred on Jalan Daan Mogot, RT 004/005, Cengkareng Timur Village, Cengkareng District, West Jakarta, on Friday, July 31, 2026, at approximately 4:30 PM WIB.

“Inside the motorcycle’s trunk, police found evidence in the form of 1.000 Hexymer pills, 1.500 Tramadol pills, and Rp172.000 in cash suspected to be the proceeds of the sales. They also found a mobile phone used for drug trafficking,” explained Kapolsek of Cengkareng, AKP Rahis Fadhlillah, when confirmed on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

He further explained that, based on initial investigation, the suspect obtained the drugs from a supplier identified as Y, who is currently on the wanted list.

“The thousands of hard drugs were planned to be transported to the Rangkasbitung area, Lebak Regency, Banten, for retail sale,” explained AKP Rahis Fadhlillah.

As for suspect AIN, he is suspected of violating Article 435 in conjunction with Article 138 paragraph (2) and/or Article 436 paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 145 paragraph (1) of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 17 of 2023 concerning Health. He faces a maximum sentence of 12 years in prison.

AKP Rahis Fathlillah also appealed to the public to continue actively providing information if they become aware of any suspected abuse or distribution of narcotics and dangerous drugs in their respective communities.

“We also urge the public not to hesitate to report any suspicious activity related to the distribution of narcotics or hard drugs. Furthermore, synergy between the police and the community is key to creating a safe, healthy, and drug-free environment,” he explained accompanied by Wakapolsek of Cengkareng, AKP Munadi, and Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Polsek Cengkareng, AKP Parman Gultom.
