Cracking Down on Drug Trafficking, Polsek of Kembangan Quickly Solve Two Cases

Evidence from two drug trafficking cases uncovered by the Polsek of Kembangan Polres Metro of the West Jakarta.

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Polsek of Kembangan Polres Metro of the West Jakarta demonstrated swift action in combating the trafficking of narcotics and dangerous drugs by solving two drug cases in quick succession.

In the first case, a man identified by the initials RRF (24) was apprehended in the East Cengkareng area of ​​West Jakarta. Police seized evidence from RRF, including 1.071 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 57 vape devices containing Etomidate, packaging equipment, a digital scale, and several mobile phones suspected of being used to facilitate drug trafficking activities.

In the second case, a man identified by the initials MS (24) was also arrested in the Jelambar area of ​​Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta.

Authorities seized the following items from MS, 13 Etomidate vapes, 8,400 Tramadol pills, 34.500 Trihexyphenidyl pills, 31.000 Heximer pills, 980 Alprazolam pills, 300 Mersi Riklona pills, and 100 Mersi Diazepam pills, along with transaction logbooks and mobile phones.

Kapolsek of Kembangan, Kompol Moch. Taufik Iksan stated, that across both cases, the police had seized over 75.000 potent drugs and psychotropic pills, 70 Etomidate vapes, and more than 1 kilogram of crystal methamphetamine—all suspected to be ready for distribution in Jakarta and the surrounding areas.

“The operations resulting in the apprehension of these two drug dealers, RRF and MS, were carried out in late July 2026,” said Kapolsek Moch. Taufik Iksan in his statement on Thursday, August 8, 2026.

Kapolsek Moch. Taufik Iksan also emphasized, that this operation demonstrates the Polri’s concrete commitment to protecting the public—particularly the younger generation—from the threat of narcotics and illicit drug abuse. Drug trafficking not only harms health but also jeopardizes the future of the nation’s youth.

To answer for his actions, suspect MS has been charged under Article 610 (2) subsidiary to Article 609 (2) of Republic of Indonesia Law No. 1 of 2026 concerning Criminal Penalty Adjustments; and/or Article 114 (2) in conjunction with Article 119 (2) of Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics; subsidiary to Article 60 paragraph (5) in conjunction with Article 62 of Law No. 5 of 1997 concerning Psychotropics; and Article 435 in conjunction with Article 138 paragraph (2) of Law No. 17 of 2023 concerning Health.

Meanwhile, suspect RRF has been charged under Article 610 (2) subsidiary to Article 609 (2) of Republic of Indonesia Law No. 1 of 2026 concerning Criminal Penalty Adjustments; and/or Article 114 (2) in conjunction with Article 119 (2) of Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.
