progresifjaya.co.id, MAKASSAR – The Daily Chairman of DPP Gerindra Party, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, ignited the spirit of thousands of cadres when he opened the Regional Coordination Meeting (Rakorda) of South Sulawesi Gerindra Party DPD in Upperhills, Makassar, Tuesday, August 4, 2026. In his directive, Sufmi Dasco confirmed that the main target of the party is to win the 2029 Election while delivering Prabowo Subianto to continue the national leadership in the period 2029-2034.

He also reminded, that since its establishment in 2008, the Gerindra Party’s journey has been full of dynamics and struggle. The various big steps taken by President Prabowo Subianto to build the nation cannot escape challenges.

Therefore, he invited all the cadres in South Sulawesi to maintain solidity and move in one line to protect government programs and strengthen the Gerindra Party.

In the presence of around 2.000 DPD, DPC, PAC, and party wing organizations, Sufmi Dasco also ordered all cadres to actively protect the digital space and correct various disinformation and hoaxes circulating on social media.

“Gerindra cadres must be present on social media to convey correct information and correct various hoaxes that attack the party and the government,” he said.

He also added, that the social media activities of Gerindra South Sulawesi cadres will always be monitored through the DPP monitoring dashboard as part of strengthening the party’s political communication.

In addition, Sufmi Dasco also encouraged the cadres who want to come forward as legislative candidates in the 2029 election to start working in the community from now on. Including determining the electoral area and building closeness with the constituents.

He also said, that the Gerindra Party no longer gives room for instant candidates who only rely on financial strength before the election. The party will prioritize cadres who have capacity, track record, and have worked and served the community.

At the end of his directive, Sufmi Dasco also appreciated the solidity of Gerindra South Sulawesi cadres. He even mentioned Rakorda in South Sulawesi as the largest regional consolidation as the opening of the Gerindra Party Rakorda series throughout Indonesia.
